No less than 3 times has this article popped up in my news feed on Facebook this week.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I get that not everyone is a car person, but COME ON. My wife is decidedly not a car person and even she said "I don't think Pontiac is a thing anymore, is it?" I can understand when that stupid 2015 Ford Bronco article pops up from time to time because you know, Ford is still a brand and they still make cars and all that. My eyes hurt from rolling so hard.

The comments on there are ridiculous.

This is just a customized camaro. TAs and FB where made by AMC Before Pontiac bought the company in the 70s. GM has no plans of bringing back the TA. Not smart to compete against your best selling car.

AMC never made the Firebird or Trans Am. Pontiac never bought AMC in the 70s, but Chrysler did buy them in the 80s. The Camaro is not GM's best selling car.

GM no longer owns Pontiac. Pontiac on its own is still around. They have been building TransAm for several years. Mind you on a much smaller scale than GM days. Which actually makes them that much cooler.

Pontiac is not still around, and has not been building the Trans Am for several years on a much smaller scale than the GM days.
